Dalhousie Station is the small shopping strip mall in Dalhousie that has Safeway, Boston Pizza, Chiropractic, Earls Dalhousie, Animal Hospital, Medical Clinic, Kinjo, Liquor Depot, TD, Indigo, Visions Eyecare. The Dalhousie C-Train Station is also located nearby with a large Park and Ride. Along Shaganappi Trail and the East side of the community, Calgary Co-op and Canadian Tire, as well as Northland Village Shopping Mall. Northland Village Shopping Mall is a smaller and older enclosed shopping mall in the city of Calgary. Northland Village often holds a summer farmer's market in the parking lot on Tuesday evenings, and the mall has the following major brand stores: EB Games, Fabricland, Designer Depot, Best Buy, Hallmark, La-Z-Boy Furniture, LensCrafters, Purdy's Chocolates, Wal-Mart and Winners. The Manor Village at Groves-Varsity is a senior 55+ complex is nearby. Dalhousie Community Association has tons of events, programs, and activities - and the Dalhousie Community Kindergarten makes this community centre popular for young families.
Public Schools in this area include H.D. Cartwright School, West Dalhousie School. Designated Public Schools nearby include Sir Winston Churchill High School(10-12; IB). Catholic Schools: St. Dominic School (K-6)
